Methodology

How a search behaviour report is built

A transparent sequence so stakeholders know what will be examined, what will be excluded, and when recommendations arrive.

Scope and sample window

We agree which product areas, locales, and date range the report may claim. Releases and campaigns inside that window are noted up front.

Anonymised transfer

You provide exports with personal identifiers removed. We refuse samples that still contain emails, account IDs, or free-text that risks re-identification.

Pattern reading

Queries are clustered by shared phrasing. Successful and failed searches are separated using the success definition you already track—or a temporary proxy we document clearly.

Written recommendations

Findings are ordered by likely impact and effort. Each item names a likely owner: content, ranking, filters, or product scope.

Walkthrough

A sixty-minute call walks through examples so non-analysts can follow the evidence. Questions after delivery are welcome within the agreed support window.
